Atelier Marin is owned by Amanda Madlener. Amanda is a Bay Area native recently returned
from ten years of living in New York City. She has been knitting and crocheting since a young
age when she was first taught by her aunt, Grace Cooper.

It's a family affair! Amanda with her aunt Grace Cooper who opened Atelier Yarns in San
Francisco over 20 years ago. Grace has over 40 years of experience and her spirit and
creativity have been driving forces in the resurgence of knitting and crochet in the Bay Area
